Okay here’s the thing. Recently, I realized I do complain
alot and I have alot to complain about. But, who doesn’t.
I have needed a reality check for a while. Taking the
negative and making it into a positive. It isn’t as easy
as you think. We have been asked to wear these bracelets
to be “21 days complaint free”. Let me tell you, that is not
easy at all. I look like a person with a severe anxiety problem
constantly changing my bracelet from wrist to wrist. But, it
has given me such clarity on how much negativity I am giving out
to people. So, I have decided to be the “glass is half full” girl.
It has been challenging but rewarding , oh so much more
rewarding than I could ever think. This has impacted my friends,
my children, my fiance’ and myself in such a way that I have
a hard time believing this is my life. When you think positive
you give this energy about you that everyone wants to have .
Which in turn makes people want to be around you and do things for
you and with you. For instance, Eventhough I have been struggling
financially, I have come to terms with my abilities to pay certain
bills when I can. That is just that. Then suddenly something
wonderful happens and a friend offers to take you out for lunch.
Your hairdresser, without embarrassment lets you get your hair done
so when you are on TV you don’t have to actually look like the oldest
bride by showing your gray hairs . So, I pay her at a later date
when my pocketbook lets me. My daughter Ashley is helping
me to workout and get more fit and healthy without even batting
an eyelash just to be with her mom. She asks nothing in return and all
we do is laugh and sweat. I have to say if not for Ironbrides I would
never have known about the 21 day complaint free challenge, I would
not have been given so much of my confidence back and most likely
I would not have been on TV with such a wonderful crew and cast.
I truly am a product of change. With out a doubt my habitual
negative state has been turned to a positive state of living. One I plan
to help others with as well. So, I say thank you Ironbrides and
welcome to my new “Positive, stress free world”. I salute you!!!
